Official Site of Boe Tankersley: Healthcare Presentations, Guitar Videos, and Woodcraft / Design
Boe Tankersley's path has always been about understanding how things work—whether it’s the human body, a complex mechanical drawing, or a well-crafted piece of furniture. I grew up as the second of eight children in rural Minnesota, where I learned the value of a meticulous work ethic early on while working alongside my father as a finish carpenter.
My background is a blend of clinical expertise and technical precision:
Healthcare & Small Business: For years, I owned and operated my own practice as a Chiropractor. As a solo practitioner, I handled every facet of the business—from clinical exams, X-rays, and adjusting to the administrative side of billing and marketing. I especially enjoyed providing patient education and health talks, and you can find clips of those presentations right here on this site.
The Trades & Design: I have a deep history in the trades, ranging from residential carpentry and drywall to manufacturing. However, my primary focus has been in Mechanical Drafting/CADD and Cabinet Making, where I enjoy the intersection of design and hands-on woodworking.
Event Management: Currently, I work for Prysm Connections LLC, a startup that coordinates continuing education for surgical societies. I specifically manage and coordinate the cadaveric labs, ensuring these vital medical training events run seamlessly.
Music & Performance: Outside of my professional work, my biggest passion is the guitar. I find a lot of parallels between the precision of the trades and the discipline of music. I’ve included several YouTube links on this site where you can see me playing and follow my progress with the instrument.
Outside of work, I stay active and connected. You’ll often find me working out at the gym, practicing yoga, or enjoying the outdoors. I’m a huge fan of live music, and I still prioritize spending plenty of quality time with my large family.
